The logic of life

I was with a friend by the edge of the lake, and she began to philosophize. "I would like to define the logic of life; I want what is below to be above, what is to the left and to the right also to be above, and what is above to be nowhere. Do you understand me?"

I responded with a yes, but in reality, I wanted to tell her no, a bit like her logic, I suppose. "It's strange that people, when they love, give dead flowers, isn't it?" was the sentence she uttered while I secretly dismantled a daisy in my pocket.
